A world of wastewater-based epidemiology
Content: Wastewater epidemiology (WBE) is an innovative method to monitor public health through wastewater analysis, and can be linked to carbon-neutral research by utilizing sustainable wastewater treatment technologies and renewable energy.
Data obtained from WBE can promote a circular economy in wastewater systems, such as resource recycling, biogas production, and water reuse, and contribute to carbon emission reduction.
